Writer's picture: My Personal Weatherman™My Personal Weatherman™

- Becoming very cold and windy today with temperatures falling, and you can see the wind chill temperatures at 9:00 tonight in the 1st image.

- Then we have the clipper moving in late tomorrow into tomorrow night with generally a coating to an inch or two of snow to the north of Long Island. The cold front then moves through Monday evening/night with colder air then for Tuesday/Wednesday.

- The next system is generally for Wednesday evening/night into Thursday night with basically ice changing to rain with snow to ice to rain farther north.

- Colder air then comes in behind the system with cold air in place for the next system for Saturday night into Sunday which could be snow to rain for southern areas of the northeast and a snowstorm farther north. It's a long way out still, and I will have more updates on it starting this afternoon.

- After that there will be more systems every 2 or 3 days with an active pattern with plenty of snow in the northeast with a battle ground possible for some of these systems for the upper Mid-Atlantic into southern New England.
