- The Arctic cold front with move through the northeast today with strong winds and some snow squalls inland and rain showers farther southeast. Wind Advisories are posted from Maryland up into southern New England. For Long Island, the Wind Advisory is from 9 AM to 10 PM for gusts as high as 50 mph. The wind will shift from the WSW to the WNW/NW when the front moves through.

- Friday is the rainy day with snow for central to northern NY/New England.
- Cold again for the weekend with a very cold Saturday night. The clipper arrives late Sunday with some light snow with a 2nd wave of snow for northern New England on Monday with the cold front from it probably moving through dry on Long Island on Monday where it will approach 50 degrees ahead of the front.
