***Sunny and chilly today and then the action begins with periods of rain, wind, and even higher elevation snow for southern/central areas of the northeast and then a pretty big warm-up for Mon/Tues and then cooler again for Wed/Thurs next week***
- Enjoy the blue skies and sunshine today despite the cold start.
- Showers arrive later tomorrow from west to east and with some snow possible at night for higher elevations of southern/central areas of the northeast.
- A lull in the action Friday morning/afternoon and then the main event moves north with the steadier rain and mountain snow later Friday or Friday evening/night with breezy/windy conditions also. The snow will change to rain from south to north Saturday morning/afternoon. I will continue to post updates on this.
- Sunday is more uncertain with the 2nd storm being farther east, but the Euro keeps rain in the picture for southeastern areas at least (see 7th image).
- The warmer weather arrives on Monday and especially Tuesday with a cold front coming through sometime on Tuesday with much cooler conditions for Wednesday and Thursday next week before it becomes gradually milder again. No big systems for next week.
