... on Christmas Eve night into Christmas***
- We have rain arriving later today with snow in the mountains to the north from a quick-moving system.
- No big changes from what I posted yesterday and last night from the complex setup with the clipper coming down and an ocean storm developing and clipping far eastern New England (Cape area and DownEast Maine) and an inverted trough bringing some light snow for some areas, including NJ, NYC, and Long Island probably. The Model Blend snow map below shows the general idea. Still looks like a big snowstorm for Nova Scotia. Stay tuned for more updates, of course.
- You all know about the Arctic blast coming for Saturday night into Monday morning and then gradually moderating.
- The models are showing the potential for some light snow for parts of NY and New England on Christmas Eve night into Christmas and possibly changing to rain for southern areas. I will keep updating.
