- No real changes for the current storm with light snow making it up to Long Island. I have included a future radar for 1 PM and then Model Blend snow map for additional accumulations.
- The big story this week for the northeast will be the very windy conditions along with the cold air as wind gusts will generally be up to 40 mph at times from later tonight through Thursday.
- The snowstorm for Texas into Oklahoma and Arkansas is for Thursday into Friday morning and then uncertainty increases, but potentially spreading into portions of the southeast and Mid-Atlantic. With the right timing for phasing with the northern piece, the GFS and Canadian produce a very strong storm as it intensifies as it heads out off the Mid-Atlantic coast. The Euro, without the proper timing for phasing, just has some light snow. Very few Euro ensemble members have the big storm as just 2 out of 50 Euro ensemble members have a blizzard for Long Island. Stay tuned over the next couple of days as I will be posting many updates, and there are always changes.
