⚠️⚠️⚠️Severe thunderstorms continuing along the cold front to our southwest with freezing rain currently in northern New England. Major flooding and severe weather will continue for the mid-Mississippi Valley area the next few days, and we will have multiple waves of rain in the northeast through this weekend, and then colder air and even a chance of some snow❄️ in central to northern New England early next week.⚠️⚠️⚠️
- Crazy tornado outbreak last night with some still continuing. More severe weather and also a very serious risk of flooding from today through Saturday with the potential for catastrophic flooding in the mid-Mississippi Valley area.
- There's currently impressive freezing rain on the radar in parts of northern New England. There will be unsettled weather with periods/waves of rain for the northeast through this weekend with also temperature swings with Saturday being the coolest.
- The big trough comes down early next week and there is the potential for a system to develop along it on Tuesday with some models showing the chance for snow for parts of central to northern/northeast New England Tuesday afternoon/night; I'll be posting updates on it. Either way, it looks to be chilly for the early to middle part of next week with some cold nights Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
- Temperatures then moderate a bit for the end of next week with a system possible for next weekend.
- Signs of warmer air for mid-month, but we'll see.
