***4:30 AM update on the snow, rain, wind and then the milder weather and then cooler again for the middle to end of next week with more rain for next Friday with cool weather for Easter weekend***
- Snow is in progress in parts of NY and New England and then there will be a lull today as the main system moves north this evening into tomorrow morning with rain, wind, and more snow. Wind gusts generally up to 35 mph tonight for Long Island and southeastern New England with some higher gusts possible. VERY chilly tomorrow with the rain and wind with highs only in the low 40's for many areas.
- The 2nd system for Sunday should bring more showers to eastern New England.
- Mild on Monday ahead of a cold front with some rain at night, and then still mild for coastal/southeastern/southern areas on Tuesday ahead of the secondary cold front on Tuesday evening that will come through mainly dry.
- Windy and cool on Wednesday with a cold night ahead.
- It looks like maybe the storm for next Friday into Friday night will track farther north and have rain mostly move through from the cold front. If that holds, it would be mainly dry and cool for the weekend, and then it becomes milder that following week.
