- The long stretch of dry weather for Long Island and southern New England will end as there will be periods of rain from this afternoon into Saturday. It will also be breezy/windy with winds mostly out of the northeast at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph along the coast. Rainfall totals will vary, but the highest amounts look to be from eastern Long Island to the southeastern New England coast.
- The Euro and Euro ensembles aren't as bullish on the potential hurricane as the other models and ensembles, but overall, there's a slowly increasing chance of a hurricane in the central to western Gulf by the end of next week. The GFS and Canadian both have the hurricane in the eastern Gulf by next Wednesday already. The Euro-AI is slower and farther west. Stay tuned and I'll continue to keep you update.
