... low chance for a storm at the end of next week/weekend for parts of the south and east coast***
- So much going on, but we have the rain for the northeast tonight with a chance of a thunderstorm. and then on the backside as the secondary storm develops along the coast, there will be inland snow in the mountains tomorrow into early Thursday with Lake Effect snow continuing beyond then.
- The big story will then be the wind from later tomorrow into Thursday evening with gusts of 30 to 45 mph with higher elevations getting gusts of up to 55 mph. After the wind eases a bit on Friday, an ocean storm will form and head out on Saturday, which will create windy conditions again this weekend for the northeast, and it will be very cold as well.
- The system for Sunday for areas to the west and then Monday for the Mid-Atlantic has continued to trend southward as the track appears to be due east. The Euro only has light snow making it as far north as Long Island, so stay tuned for more updates.
- As you know, there will be an extended period of well below normal temperatures into next week and through next weekend for a large areas of the center of the country and the east.
- There is still a low chance for a storm to form at the end of next week and bring some snow to the south and Mid-Atlantic, and possibly the northeast coast. It's a long way out, so it's uncertain.
