***Update on the clipper today, the frontal system for Saturday, the coastal snow for later on Sunday, the Arctic blast, and any potential southern and then northeastern system***

- We have another cold day in the northeast with snow showers from a clipper for mainly southern areas of the northeast, and you can see the snow map from the HRRR model in the 2nd image.

- Tomorrow is a nice day with sunshine and it won't be as cold.

- We have the frontal system for Saturday with some showers and then some snow to the north (see 3rd image).

- The wave of low pressure that develops along the Arctic boundary stays relatively weak and farther east with some light snow from parts of the Mid-Atlantic into Long Island and southeastern New England. The new Euro has an inch or two for eastern Long Island and a few inches for southeastern MA (see 4th image). I'll have more updates today on it.

- The big story though is the Arctic air from Monday into Thursday morning with frigid conditions! For example, highs won't get out of the teens on Tuesday for Long Island with lows in the single digits and wind chills below zero.

- The models have any potential southern system suppressed way down to the Gulf coast and maybe for the southeast coast from Tuesday into Wednesday morning, but it's still uncertain, so stay tuned for changes.

- Then it looks like a pretty good chance for a 2nd storm for the end of next week that will come farther north into the northeast. Lots of time to watch it.
