The Long Island forecast with lower humidity and no hot weather for the next 2 weeks:

- Cooler with much lower humidity, especially this afternoon, and even cooler weather for tomorrow.

- No hot weather (upper 80's or above) is expected for Long Island for the next 15 days.

- No tropical storms are expected for at least the next 5 days (5th image), although the Euro ensembles (6th image) still slow a low chance of a tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico next week.


LONG ISLAND FORECAST:

Today: Partly cloudy, cooler, and less humid, especially in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70's to low 80's, but cooler for the south shore and east end and cooler as the afternoon progresses. Wind out of the NE at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and ESE at 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows mostly in the mid to upper 50's. Wind out of the E at around 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Partly to mostly cloudy and cooler with low humidity with highs in the low 70's. Wind mostly out of the E at around 10 mph.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with low humidity with highs in the mid 70's. Wind out of the NE in the morning and SSE in the afternoon at 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy with moderate humidity and a 30% chance of some showers or a thunderstorm by late afternoon or early evening with highs in the mid to upper 70's. Wind out of the S to SSW at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Monday: Chance of early morning showers and then becoming sunny with moderate humidity and only a very slight chance of an isolated shower with highs in the upper 70's to low 80's.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a chance of some showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70's to low 80's.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70's.
