Only post today - update on future major Hurricane Lee, and the hot and humid weather and the...

... weekend and next week:

- Happy Labor Day! I'm heading to Boston soon to bring Faithie to college, so this will be my only post today. I will be back sometime tomorrow and have more updates then.

- All indications are that Invest 95L will become a major hurricane (Lee), but it should track just north of the northeastern Caribbean islands, and then a very likely early turn to the north in the general direction of Bermuda. Hopefully it will miss it to the east, but it gets a little complicated at that time and some ensemble members even have it track a bit northwest around then, but there is plenty of time to watch that.

- It will be a hot and fairly humid next few days and then very humid later in the week into the weekend and still warm when there will be chances of some scattered showers and thunderstorms at times through the weekend, but not washouts. There is a little uncertainty as to exactly when the cold front moves through, but probably by Monday and especially Tuesday and the rest of next week, we will get into the cooler and much less humid air mass.
