***Milton update with Cat 5 potential***

***3:35 AM update with nightmare potential as Milton is about to rapidly intensify and could PEAK (not landfall!) as a Cat 5 as both HAFS-A and HAFS-B are showing, although winds will come down on approach, but the storm surge will be already "baked-in". Timing now later with landfall Wednesday night and should be a little north of Tampa.***

- Milton is developing a small core and small storms can RAPIDLY intensify faster than storms with a larger core. It's very scary to see the HAFS-A and HAFS-B both making it peak as a Cat 5. Very likely to weaken in terms of wind on approach, but likely still a very dangerous and deadly Cat 3 with a large storm surge! Landfall looks to be sometime Wednesday evening or night. The NHC has not issued a storm surge map yet.

- The latest NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center advisory is showing a 120 mph peak with max gusts up to 150 mph, but they may raise that.
