🎅❄️🎄Merry Christmas Eve! 4:40 AM post with snow in the northeast and approaching Long Island in a few hours. Cold the next days and then milder with wet periods before the cold returns in early...

... January and then snow chances follow🎅❄️🎄

- You can see the current radar at 4:34 AM in the 2nd image and the National Weather Service snow map with additional accumulations in the 3rd image with a close-up for Long Island in the 4th image. By afternoon, it's basically all moved through except for DownEast Maine.

- Pretty cold the next few days before it becomes milder with rain chances at times from late Saturday into Monday and then again for New Year's Day. Both can possibly bring a little ice or snow to far northern New England.

- Below normal temperatures then return by around January 4th and generally lasts, so we will then at least have some chances for snow. I'll probably have a separate post this morning with the snow maps from the ensembles.
