- I'm still waiting on the NWS NY snow map for Long Island, as they always seem to be the last to submit their map. - I'll post a timing video this morning, but the general timing remains the same, mostly mid-morning to late evening for Long Island. Generally 1 to 3 inches for Long Island with the highest amounts for southwest Nassau and the lowest amounts for eastern Suffolk. - The 2nd to 5th images are the NWS snow maps - The 6th to 8th images are from the HRRR, NAM, and Model Blend. - Despite the warm-up, it looks like there will be some snow and ice for northern New England next week and next weekend as cold air builds down from the north.
