Some downpours racing northward across Nassau and central to western Suffolk after the east end has been getting hammered by on and off heavy downpours this afternoon, and the models continue to show an extended period of at least moderate rain from northern NJ into southeastern NY and into southwestern CT as you can see in some of the rainfall maps posted below. Also, the wind should get a little stronger tomorrow morning into afternoon with temperatures maybe only around 60 degrees with more rain. I have included the HRRR wind map below in the last image for 3 PM tomorrow, although you can probably subtract around 5 mph from what it's showing.
