- Devastating fires continue in southern California with intense Santa Winds gusting over 90 mph at times through this morning and then gradually decreasing this afternoon.
- Frigid conditions in the northeast as the strong wind gusts continue through tomorrow at up to 45 mph with stronger gusts in the higher elevations.
- A swath of snow from Texas into parts of the southeast and southern Mid-Atlantic, but with no phasing with the northern stream there will just be some light snow in the northeast as once again, the GFS caves to the Euro.
