***Happy Labor Day! Some amazing weather with cool nights ahead before the rain/wind storm and then more great weather! Tropics generally quiet for peak season, but still watching.***

- On this Labor Day, we should appreciate how far we have come in terms of improved work conditions. I hope you all can get to relax and celebrate all of your hard work with family, friends, and good food/drink.

- We basically have 4 beautiful days of sunshine and low humidity with cool nights in the northeast.

- An onshore flow with increasing clouds and humidity on Friday with some showers possible late. A complex interaction of multiples pieces (troughs, fronts, and low pressure systems) will produce a period of rain (and wind) that can be heavy at times on Saturday or Saturday night into Sunday morning for some areas as it lifts up through the northeast. Stay tuned for more details.

- We still have a few areas in the tropics with potential development, but nothing is imminent, which is remarkable for this peak time of hurricane season, which is the 2nd week of September. There is still a slight chance that the tropical wave entering he Caribbean Sea will develop in the western Caribbean or possible in the Bay of Campeche and possibly head north as a few ensemble members are showing.
