***Euro still a no-go for the northeast, while the GFS still has a snowstorm, but a little farther southeast and not quite as strong. GFS ensembles much more bullish than the Euro ensembles.***

- First, we have a few days of very cold and very windy conditions in the northeast with gusts mostly up to 35 to 45 mph or so, but stronger at elevation!

- There is an extremely critical wind and fire danger for the Los Angeles area today into tomorrow with wind gusts of 50 to 90 mph!

- There will still be a snow and ice storm from Texas/Arkansas into parts of the southeast on Thursday into Friday. The Euro then just slides it offshore with no phasing and only some snow showers for the Mid-Atlantic into southern areas of the northeast on Saturday morning. The GFS still has it intensify as it passes a little southeast of Long Island to Cape Cod. It's still hard to bet against the Euro and Euro ensembles at this range as the ensembles are much farther south and offshore before it becomes a strong storm.
