Another windy and very cold day in the northeast, close-call for extreme southeastern MA with the snow as Nantucket has a chance for 3 to 6 inches, a quiet and seasonably cold weekend ahead:

- While the wind won't be quite as strong as yesterday, it will still be very windy, especially in the mountains, and also the temperatures will be significantly colder today.

- I'll post the updated National Weather Service snow maps in a couple of hours or so, but it looks like a very close call for extreme southeastern MA, and even the National Weather Service is giving a 10% chance for 8 inches of snow for Nantucket. The Euro and Euro ensemble mean both trended closer to Nantucket the last 2 runs. You can see the Euro snow map below.

- It will be nice to have a quiet weekend ahead. After the clipper next Tues/Wed, the next chance of a storm looks to be the end of next week (Feb 28th/ March 1st).
