... with dangerous wind chills up north! Uncertain storm potential after December 8th.***
- You can see the new snow map showing an additional 3 to 4 feet of snow for max amounts by 7 PM Monday!
- The clipper system is looking a little more robust for central and especially northern areas of the northeast Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. For Long Island, it should be some rain and snow showers with no accumulations expected at this time.
- Behind the clipper, it will be very windy on Thursday with an Arctic blast for Friday through Sunday with dangerous wind chill temperatures well below zero up north, and especially at elevation.
- Any storm potential between December 8th and 12th is very uncertain, so it's not worth speculating about now, but stay tuned. The temperatures will likely moderate though starting around Dec 9th/10th and get closer to normal.
