☃60 to 70 inches of Lake Effect snow by Monday, the Long Island forecast, an extended period of below normal temperatures for the northeast, a clipper next Wednesday night, and another shot of even..

... colder air for next weekend!đŸ„¶***

- I've included the new snow map from the National Weather Service, which has a 60 to 72 inch zone by 7 PM Sunday for the Tug Hill area of NY. ☃☃☃

- You can see the Long Island forecast with it being generally, dry, breezy, and cold. Slight chance of a passing shower later today, an a slight chance of a snow shower later tomorrow. Probably some snow showers Wednesday night from the clipper, possibly starting as a rain shower. The Euro ensemble mean has below normal temperatures for 15 straight days, starting today, although a few of days will be close. Afternoon highs next weekend will probably be between 30 and 33 degrees.

- After the clipper brings light snow to the northeast Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, there will be another reinforcing shot of cold air next Friday which will lead to a very cold weekend with some frigid wind chills at night.

- Any potential bigger storm chances looks to be between December 9th and 12th, but everything would have to come together.
