- You all pretty much know what to expect from the storm for late tonight into tomorrow afternoon. I have included the National Weather Service snow and ice maps below. It's not a big storm, but very impactful for the morning commute and a lot of ice for some areas inland. A Winter Weather Advisory was added for NYC, Nassau, and the western half of Suffolk as there may be some freezing rain after the snow and sleet.
- The 2nd storm for Saturday evening into Sunday morning is stronger and more impactful with higher snow totals in the northeast with the potential for 5 to 10 inches for central to northern areas. For Long Island and southern New England it still changes to sleet and rain with generally 1 to 3 inches of snow. I have included the Euro snow map for a general idea.
- It will be very windy on Sunday.
- Then next week is a more widespread snowstorm potential for the upper Mid-Atlantic into at least southern areas of the northeast. It may be 2 waves of low pressure for Tuesday into Wednesday morning and possibly another storm at the end of the week. I have included a couple of maps from the Euro. While it's way to early to talk about amounts for specific areas, this has the potential to bring at least 6 to 12 inches to some areas.
