- First, we have Lake Effect snow still ongoing and some flurries in the NYC area into parts of Long Island early this morning as the windy conditions will continue. There is also the clipper today that will head into southern NJ with a little snow.
-As for the big storm, the GFS and GFS ensembles shifted north for the 4th run in a row, but just to keep things interesting, the Euro and Euro ensembles shifted south, LOL. The other models are mostly generally farther north. For now, it's best to stick with the Model Blend which shows the snow farther north. I will be posting the updated National Weather Service snow and ice maps in a couple of hours or so.
