- Snow has started earlier than expected on Long Island. It should change to sleet and then rain between around 8:00 and 9:00 this morning with no big changes overall, and I have included the snow and ice maps in the 6th and 7th images.
- The weekend storm has generally trended farther south over the last couple of days, and the snow map in the 3rd image is from the GFS for a general idea. There should be a few inches of snow on Long Island before changing to sleet and rain.
- The 4th image is the snow map from the Euro for the next storm for Tuesday into Wednesday morning for a general idea.
- There will likely be another storm for next Thursday that will be farther north with the snow, and the 5th image is a really early idea from the Euro.
- Then there will probably be some kind of stronger cutter/cold front with wind later in the holiday weekend with very cold air coming in behind it.
