***4:30 AM update on the tropics, Long Island/northeast weather with an offshore storm and a beautiful weekend ahead, what to expect the following weekend, and could there be a Halloween storm?***

- As expected, the NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center decreased the chances for tropical development for Invest 94L to 30% as it's looking increasingly likely that there won't be a Nadine until possibly early November.

- The offshore storm for later today and tonight will be just that... offshore. It will bring some clouds though for the coast and breezy conditions with a northerly wind, and it's possible for Nantucket to see a shower and it will be the windiest there.

- The high pressure ridge settles over the northeast this weekend into early next week, so there will be blue skies with very few clouds and very little wind, and it will warm up each day with Monday reaching the mid 70's on Long Island. It will be perfect weather this weekend for outdoor activities!

- A cold front passes through the northeast around Wednesday night next week with maybe some showers for northern areas, but it should pass through Long Island with just some clouds.

- It also looks beautiful then for NEXT weekend, but not quite as warm as this weekend.

- There are a few Euro ensemble members, as well as the main GFS run, that are showing a potential northeast storm around Halloween. It's still 2 weeks away, so I will be watching it and updating.
