... MLK Day/Jan 21st storm with Arctic air behind it❄️🥶
- We have the southern storm in progress with a rough day for travel with snow, sleet, freezing rain, and heavy rain spreading east-northeastward. I'll probably post a future radar video a little later this morning to show the timing. For the northeast, it's mostly light snow accumulations late tonight into tomorrow, and I have included snow maps from the National Weather Service and HRRR model.
- Not as cold for Sunday and Monday ahead of the next cold front for the northeast with windy and very cold conditions again from Tuesday to Thursday next week.
- Uncertainty begins to increase after that, of course, but it looks like a cold front will come through with some rain showers around next Saturday and then there is a chance for a storm with snow for the northeast on Jan 20th/21st with much colder air behind it or the storm could be a little later in the week.
