... eastward with the Euro still showing very heavy rain for Long Island and SE MA Sunday night into St. Patrick's Day with the potential for 2 to 4 inches⚠️*⚠️
- The warmth in parts of the northeast was nice while it lasted, but it will be much cooler today and tomorrow with a potential thin band of snow in parts of MA tonight.
- You can see the severe weather potential in the 4th image for Friday into Friday night, and that will head eastward this weekend.
- The Euro has the bulk of the heavy rain for Long Island being Sunday evening into late morning or early afternoon on St. Patrick's Day, but there is still plenty of time to fine-tune the timing and amounts, but the potential is there for a strip of high rainfall totals for coastal areas from NJ to Long Island and southeastern MA. Under this scenario, while it would still be windy for the coast, the Euro has the strongest winds inland.
