***4:25 AM update with the Long Island forecast with a Wind Advisory and the northeast storm/cold front with the latest snow, rain, wind, and wind chill maps, and some comments on the weekend and...

... the coming rain and milder temperatures next week.***


- Wind Advisory for all of Long Island, NYC, southern CT, southeastern NY, all of NJ, all of Delaware, a good portion of PA and part of MD for Thursday for wind gusts up 40 to 50 mph from the west.

- I have all included 4 snow maps below and will continue to post the latest snow maps.

- Temperatures will be falling on Thursday for Long Island and many areas and it will feel VERY cold in the afternoon and frigid at night.

- A very weak clipper system for Saturday will barely go noticed with some flurries or light snow for parts of the northeast and then another clipper for Sunday should bring light snow for central to northern areas of the northeast.

- A big warm-up for Monday to Wednesday with periods of rain from multiple areas of low pressure, and then a big colder for Thursday and Friday before it warms up again.
