...clipper around next Tuesday, and then a late-week system with some shots of cold air to follow.***
- The shield of snow from the storm may barely clip Nantucket, and there will be snow showers from the upper-level low in PA and NJ and then for Long Island and southeastern New England late this afternoon until close to midnight as a weak trough connects with the offshore storm. It will become windy late in the day and especially tonight into tomorrow.
- A quiet weekend ahead and then becoming milder starting on Sunday and into next week as Long Island could approach 50 degrees Tuesday to Thursday. It looks like a weak clipper for around Monday night to Tuesday night.
- Looks like a system for around Thursday night into Friday next week with some colder air behind it and then POSSIBLY a stronger clipper late next weekend with really cold air behind it.
