... the system for Texas on Friday and into the southeast on Saturday is back in play, but details uncertain***
- It's so early in the morning that the National Weather Service snow maps aren't updated yet, but I would expect them to reduce amounts for NYC and Long Island as models keep accumulating snow mostly southwest of there. I will post the updated National Weather Service snow map in 2 or 3 hours.
- You can see the squall line and severe weather potential below with damaging wind gusts, hail, and a chance for a tornado.
- As for later next week, the GFS and Euro both show the system for Texas on Friday with some snow on the north side and heading into the southeast and Mid-Atlantic on Saturday with snow on the north side, but the GFS has it stronger. I will update on this and post maps probably this afternoon.
