***3:30 AM update on the Thanksgiving into Black Friday northeast storm with earlier arrival! Inland snow favored! Huge Lake Effect snow into the following week up to 50 inches! Very cold week...

... behind the storm and watching for a potential December 6th/7th storm!***

- The timing generally looks earlier now with it starting on Thanksgiving morning with mostly finishing on the morning of Black Friday. The track will too far north and along the coast for snow for southeastern areas of the northeast. A snow changing to rain scenario for those just northwest of the track with big snow for interior areas farther north, especially at elevation. There is still time for changes and fine-tuning though. I have included the snow maps below from the Model Blend, Euro, and Euro ensemble mean to show the general idea.

- Lake Effect snow will continue for days with some areas likely exceeding 4 feet!

- You all know about the cold air behind the storm and into and through the first week of December. Watching for a potential storm around December 6th/7th. Too early for details though.

- 1st to 3rd images: Snow maps through Saturday from the Model Blend, Euro, and Euro ensemble mean.

- 4th to 6th images: Maps from the Euro at 1 PM on Thanksgiving 7 PM on Thanksgiving, and 1 AM on Black Friday
